Ethyl Glucuronide (EtG) Drug Screen Dip Card (Forensic Use Only)
The Ethyl Glucuronide (EtG) Drug Screen Dip Card (Forensic Use Only) from American Screening Corp is a professional rapid urine screening device designed to detect Ethyl Glucuronide (EtG), a direct metabolite of ethanol that remains in urine after alcohol consumption. Because EtG is detectable longer than alcohol itself, this test is widely used for alcohol abstinence monitoring, forensic investigations, court-ordered testing, rehabilitation programs, probation departments, and correctional facilities.
This one-step rapid urine dip card utilizes advanced lateral flow immunoassay technology to provide accurate preliminary results in approximately 5 minutes. Designed exclusively for Forensic Use Only, the test offers reliable point-of-care alcohol screening without requiring laboratory analyzers, making it an excellent solution for professional forensic and monitoring programs.

What does the Ethyl Glucuronide Drug Screen Dip Card detect?
This test detects Ethyl Glucuronide (EtG), a direct metabolite of ethanol, in human urine to identify recent alcohol consumption.
What is Ethyl Glucuronide (EtG)?
EtG is a direct metabolite formed when the body metabolizes alcohol. Because EtG remains in urine longer than ethanol itself, it is commonly used to monitor recent alcohol use and support abstinence verification.
Why is EtG testing commonly used in forensic programs?
EtG testing provides a longer detection window than breath alcohol testing, making it useful for probation monitoring, drug courts, rehabilitation programs, correctional facilities, and other forensic applications where recent alcohol use must be monitored.
Who should use this test?
This product is intended for forensic professionals, drug courts, probation departments, rehabilitation centers, correctional institutions, treatment facilities, toxicology laboratories, and legal alcohol monitoring programs.
How quickly are results available?
Results are available in approximately 5 minutes. Results should not be interpreted after 10 minutes.
How accurate is the test?
When used according to the manufacturer's instructions, the test delivers greater than 99% accuracy under recommended testing conditions. All preliminary positive results should be confirmed using LC-MS/MS or another validated confirmatory laboratory method.
How are the results interpreted?
Negative: Two colored lines appear (Control and Test), even if the Test line is faint.
Preliminary Positive: Only the Control line appears with no Test line.
Invalid: No Control line appears. Repeat the test using a new device.
How should the test be stored?
Store the sealed test device between 36°F and 86°F (2°C–30°C). Do not freeze. The product has an approximate shelf life of 24 months from the manufacture date.
