Alcohol ETG Test Strips – Case of 25 – Precision DX
Alcohol consumption can leave behind traces long after the buzz fades. The Alcohol ETG Test Strip detects Ethyl Glucuronide (ETG) — a direct metabolite of ethanol — in urine, offering a longer detection window than standard alcohol tests. Whether for recovery monitoring, workplace compliance, or personal accountability, this strip delivers fast, reliable results. It’s a trusted tool for identifying recent alcohol use. Discreet, accurate, and easy to use. Empowering informed decisions.
Each strip is calibrated to detect ETG at a cut-off level of 500 ng/mL, providing high sensitivity without false positives from incidental exposure. Simply dip the strip into a fresh urine sample for 10–15 seconds. Lay it flat and wait for results to appear within five minutes. A control line ensures the test is valid. Two lines indicate a negative result; one line means positive. No lines? Retest with a new strip.
ETG can remain in the body for up to 80 hours after alcohol consumption, making this test ideal for post-event screening. It’s widely used in rehab centers, probation programs, and drug courts to monitor abstinence. Unlike breathalyzers, ETG strips detect alcohol use well beyond the moment of intoxication. This extended window supports accountability and relapse prevention. It’s a powerful tool for behavioral health.
Detect. Confirm. Prevent
The test strip is compact, individually sealed, and shelf-stable for 18–24 months. It fits easily into clinical kits, outreach packs, or personal wellness drawers. No refrigeration required. Designed for professionals and individuals alike, it offers convenience without compromising accuracy. Whether you're testing in the field or at home, it performs reliably. Just dip, wait, and read.
This product is intended for presumptive screening only — not for diagnostic or legal decisions. Results should be confirmed through laboratory analysis if necessary. It’s suitable for forensic applications, substance monitoring, and wellness tracking. By identifying alcohol use quickly, teams can respond with appropriate care or intervention. It’s a frontline tool in substance awareness. Precision meets purpose.
Bulk packs are available for clinics, institutions, and outreach programs. Whether you're stocking up for regular screenings or distributing in high-risk zones, this test adapts to your workflow. It’s suitable for law enforcement, schools, athletic programs, and family use. Order today and strengthen your response strategy. Because every test could be the one that supports recovery. Action begins with insight.

FAQ – Alcohol ETG Test Strips
1. What is Ethyl Glucuronide?
Ethyl glucuronide is a minor byproduct of ethanol breakdown, making up less than 0.1% of the dosage. It's formed when ethanol combines with glucuronic acid through an enzymatic process. Unlike ethanol, ethyl glucuronide is stable, water-soluble, and nonvolatile. These characteristics make it a highly effective option for routine testing of ethanol consumption.
2. What is the cut-off level?
The cut-off level for Ethyl glucuronide is 500 ng/ml. This means the test will detect Ethyl glucuronide at or above this concentration in the urine sample.
3. How accurate are ETG test strips?
They offer over 99% sensitivity and specificity, making them highly reliable for screening recent alcohol use.
4. What is the cut-off level for a positive result?
Most ETG test strips use a 500 ng/mL cut-off, though some labs may use 300 ng/mL for stricter thresholds.
5. Can mouthwash or hand sanitizer cause a false positive?
Yes — incidental exposure to alcohol-containing products may trigger low-level positives. Always interpret results in context.
6. Do ETG strips show how much alcohol was consumed?
No. They only indicate the presence of ETG, not the quantity or type of alcohol consumed.
7. Can someone cheat or mask an ETG test?
ETG is difficult to adulterate or mask. Standard dilution or detox methods are generally ineffective.
8. Are ETG strips suitable for home use?
Yes — they’re simple, non-invasive, and easy to interpret, making them ideal for personal accountability or recovery support.
9. What do the results look like?
Two lines = negative; one line = positive; no lines = invalid. Results appear within 5 minutes after dipping.
10. Who commonly uses ETG test strips?
They’re used by rehab centers, probation programs, workplaces, schools, and individuals tracking sobriety.
