NicQuick-Oral Cotinine Test – Case of 25 – Precision
The Precision NicQuick–Oral Cotinine Test, with indicator is a rapid, non-invasive diagnostic tool designed to detect cotinine—a primary metabolite of nicotine—in human saliva. This test is widely used in clinical, occupational, and insurance settings to determine recent tobacco use. Its built-in indicator provides a clear visual cue for sample adequacy and test activation, enhancing reliability and ease of use.
This test is ideal for organizations seeking a quick and accurate method to verify tobacco exposure. It supports smoking cessation programs, workplace compliance, and insurance risk assessments. By detecting cotinine levels, it helps differentiate between active smokers, passive exposure, and nicotine replacement therapy users, offering nuanced insights into tobacco use behavior.
The NicQuick test delivers results within 10 minutes, making it suitable for point-of-care environments. It is sensitive to cotinine concentrations as low as 10 ng/mL, ensuring detection even in cases of light or occasional smoking. The indicator mechanism confirms proper sample collection, reducing the likelihood of false negatives due to insufficient saliva volume.
Fast, Non-Invasive, Accuracy
Unlike blood or urine tests, this oral fluid-based method is non-invasive and easy to administer. The test requires no specialized equipment or laboratory processing, allowing for on-site screening with minimal training. The integrated indicator simplifies the procedure, guiding users through each step and confirming test readiness.
Each test kit is individually sealed and includes a test device, instructions for use, and a desiccant to maintain product integrity. The kits are shelf-stable and should be stored at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Proper storage ensures consistent performance throughout the product’s shelf life.
The Precision NicQuick–Oral Cotinine Test complies with relevant diagnostic standards and is validated for clinical use. It offers high specificity and accuracy, minimizing cross-reactivity with other substances. The indicator feature enhances procedural compliance, making it a trusted choice for professionals who require dependable tobacco screening

How to read Saliva Drug Test

POSITIVE
Only one colored band appears, in the control region (C). No colored band appears in the test region (T) for the drug in question. A positive result indicates that the drug concentration exceeds the detectable level. (T).

NEGATIVE
Two colored bands appear on the membrane. One band appears in the control region (C) and another band appears in the test region (T) for the drug in question. A negative result indicates that the drug concentration is below the detectable level.
Certain lines may appear lighter or thinner than other lines.
Each line is to be considered a clear reading whether it be faint, light or dark.

INVALID
Control band fails to appear. Resuhs from any test which has not produced a control band (C) at the specified read time must be discarded. Please review the procedure and repeat with a new test. If the problem. persists, discontinue using the kit imrn.ediately and contact your local distributor.
