Testing Procedures:
-Place the strip arrow down in the specimen cup and hold there for 3 seconds.
-Remove the strip and place on a dry non-absorbant surface.
-Results should be read within 5 minutes. The test is not valid beyond the 5 minutes.
Reading the Results:
-Positive (+) A pink band will be visible in the control region with no color bands in the test region. This indicates the presence of the drug being tested.
-Negative (-) A pink band will be visible in the control region and test region. This indicates a zero or below
The strips are used as a preliminary test only, should you get a positive or have any questions, results should be confirmed by a GC/MS at a SAMHSA Certified Lab.
