- This tests is used to help determine if someone has spiked your drink with Date Rape Drugs. This test is very simple, it comes with a test card that tests for three drugs:
GHB
Ketamine
Rohypnol (Benzodiazepine)
The test comes with:
Test Card (tests for 3 substances)
Pipettor (used to add drops for each test on the card)
Procedure is simple:
These drugs are very different from one another so separate tests are needed for each. The Drink Detective contains three tests: the G-test for GHB, the K-test for Ketamine and the B-test for Rohypnol (the B stands for Benzodiazepines).
Here is how each test works:
The K-test
Using the eye-dropper provided, place one drop of the liquid on the rectangle. An instantaneous color change (less than 1 second) to the bright orange shown on the card indicates the presence of ketamine—or a related drug.
The G-test
Place one drop on the rectangle. An instantaneous color change to the blue shown indicates the presence of GHB.
The B-test
Place 4 drops of the liquid on the right-hand side of the strip—where it says “test here.” It will take 30-60 seconds for the liquid to move along the strip. You will then see one or two lines. Two lines indicate that the drink does not contain Rohypnol or any other dissolved benzodiazepine. One line indicates the presence of one of these drugs. That is, two lines = safe, one line = danger.
