CLIA WAIVED

CLIA waived CLIA stands for Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments.  In CLIA waived tests are tests approved by the Food and Drug Administration for home or office use by untrained individuals.  These tests are often positive/negative tests or tests that require little analysis by the user to determine the results and are not dangerous to the user if they are not performed correctly.
