Chain of Custody

Chain of Custody A chain of custody is a written detail of the handling of specimens for drug testing.  Any drug tests that have an initial positive result must be logged on a chain of custody from the time the individual being tested gives the specimen to the time the specimen is no longer usable.  All information regarding the specimen is placed on the Federal Drug Testing Custody and Control Form (CCF).
