The AlcoMate AccuCell features a USB port for saving test results while connected to a PC. The results can be exported as a convenient Excel document from inside the optional MAX20 software. The results can only be stored while connected to the computer; the device itself has no internal memory.

- 1. DO NOT PLUG THE USB CABLE INTO YOUR PC YET!
- 2. Insert the MAX20 CD into your PC. The serial # on the CD sleeve will be used later, after MAX20 software is installed.
- 3. Navigate to the CD drive on your PC and run (double-click) the file starting with “CP210x”. Follow the onscreen instructions to proceed by clicking “Next” and accepting license terms.
- 4. Toward the end of the setup, you MUST place a check in the box to “Launch the CP210x VCP Driver Installer” and then click “Finish”. Please make sure you do not skip this step.
- 5. Install the CP210x USB to UART Bridge Driver.
- 6. After successfull installation, connect the USB cable to your device and then to your computer. YOU MUST WAIT for your computer to display a message that the device is “ready to use”. Please make note of the COM port (for example COM3 or COM4) that is assigned for troubleshooting.
- 7. Go back to the CD drive on your computer and run (double- click) the “Setup” file to install MAX20. Once this is done, you can connect the AccuCell to your PC and run MAX20.
