NOTE: The alcohol test will only produce positive results if the patient is still intoxicated while taking the test.  Similar to a breathlayzer test, our test measures the blood alcohol content from a urine sample.  A BAC of 0.04% or higher will produce a blue color on the test reactive pad.  Typically, alcohol is metabolized out of the system within 12 hours.
